Semel Tolppa privacy policy

Semel Tolppa is Semel Oy's internal app for its employees. It identifies calls from Semel's customers and shows their contact information. This policy describes how personal data is processed in the app.

Purpose and lawful basis
Personal data is processed to identify customers' calls and to let Semel's employees find customer contact information in their work. The lawful basis is Semel's legitimate interest in serving its customers (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). The data is not used for any other purpose.
Personal data processed
- Customers' contact persons: name, phone numbers, email address, and the customer company the person is linked to. The data comes from Semel's customer register.
- App users (Semel employees): work account details needed for signing in and access control, and the device and app information needed to apply Semel's security policy for mobile apps. Signing in with a Semel work account is required to use the app.
Recipients
The data is available only to Semel employees who have been given access to the app. Service providers that deliver IT services to Semel process the data on Semel's behalf. Personal data is not sold or disclosed for marketing.
The data is processed primarily in the European Union and the European Economic Area. If a service provider processes data outside them, Semel ensures appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Contact information is kept in the app only as long as it is in Semel's customer register. It is removed from the user's device when the user signs out or their access ends. Data about users is kept as long as they have access to the app.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data and to have it corrected or erased, the right to restrict its processing, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use your rights, contact desk@semel.fi. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
No automated decision-making or profiling is based on the data.

Semel updates this policy when the processing changes.
Semel Tolppa – tietosuojaseloste

Semel Tolppa on Semel Oy:n sisäinen sovellus sen työntekijöille. Se tunnistaa Semelin asiakkaiden puhelut ja näyttää heidän yhteystietonsa. Tässä selosteessa kerrotaan, miten sovelluksessa käsitellään henkilötietoja.

Käsittelyn tarkoitus ja peruste
Henkilötietoja käsitellään asiakkaiden puheluiden tunnistamiseksi ja jotta Semelin työntekijät löytävät asiakkaiden yhteystiedot työssään. Käsittelyn peruste on Semelin oikeutettu etu palvella asiakkaitaan (tietosuoja-asetuksen 6 artiklan 1 kohdan f alakohta). Tietoja ei käytetä muuhun tarkoitukseen.
Käsiteltävät henkilötiedot
- Asiakkaiden yhteyshenkilöt: nimi, puhelinnumerot, sähköpostiosoite ja asiakasyritys, johon henkilö liittyy. Tiedot saadaan Semelin asiakasrekisteristä.
- Sovelluksen käyttäjät (Semelin työntekijät): kirjautumiseen ja käyttöoikeuksien hallintaan tarvittavat työtunnuksen tiedot sekä mobiilisovellusten tietoturvakäytännön soveltamiseen tarvittavat laite- ja sovellustiedot. Sovelluksen käyttö edellyttää kirjautumista Semelin työtunnuksella.
Tietojen vastaanottajat
Tiedot ovat vain niiden Semelin työntekijöiden käytettävissä, joille on annettu sovelluksen käyttöoikeus. Semelille tietopalveluja tuottavat palveluntarjoajat käsittelevät tietoja Semelin lukuun. Henkilötietoja ei myydä eikä luovuteta markkinointiin.
Tietoja käsitellään ensisijaisesti Euroopan unionissa ja Euroopan talousalueella. Jos palveluntarjoaja käsittelee tietoja niiden ulkopuolella, Semel huolehtii asianmukaisista suojatoimista, kuten Euroopan komission vakiosopimuslausekkeista.
Säilytys
Yhteystietoja säilytetään sovelluksessa vain niin kauan kuin ne ovat Semelin asiakasrekisterissä. Ne poistetaan käyttäjän laitteelta, kun käyttäjä kirjautuu ulos tai hänen käyttöoikeutensa päättyy. Käyttäjiä koskevia tietoja säilytetään niin kauan kuin heillä on sovelluksen käyttöoikeus.
Oikeutesi
Sinulla on oikeus saada pääsy henkilötietoihisi ja oikeus vaatia niiden oikaisemista tai poistamista, oikeus rajoittaa niiden käsittelyä sekä oikeus vastustaa oikeutettuun etuun perustuvaa käsittelyä. Voit käyttää oikeuksiasi ottamalla yhteyttä osoitteeseen desk@semel.fi. Voit myös tehdä valituksen tietosuojavaltuutetun toimistolle (tietosuoja.fi).
Tietoihin ei perustu automaattista päätöksentekoa eikä profilointia.
